Secure Tazzles using Nail Clear coat

Tazzles and beaded-lace piping along borders. Something that is very much "IN" at the moment. But its definitely upsetting to see that lovely tazzle which you have handpicked have come out at the very first wear..or the beaded piping around the neck and hands have started rolling out just with the burst of a tiny thread.

(another borrowed image from googley)

And this, even though pretty along the edges, need to be handled with care especially at the edges. Some forehand precaution and it will stay in place intact.

Check near the end of the lace. As long as the tailors are patient enough to have knotted it tight, (most of the time..they do NOT !) you are well and good. Else not..they start coming out, one after the other.

Here's a quicky DIY means to ensure the thread ends stay tight .

Using Nail Clear Coat Polish.

Make a knot at the end if its loose and apply a generous coat of clear nail polish at the edges. Let it dry and repeat. The thread would get stiff and stay in place .

The same goes with tazzles too.

see the loose thread from the knot ?

Tie the knot tightly once again..hold the thread together and apply the polish all around generously.

Let dry the first coat and reapply again..till the polish dries up and the thread stiffens.

No worries..any more !

Inter-"movie" marriage...

Thats Boy 1 about his younger brother @ 6 yrs.
Boy 1 - "mamma..you know what...he wants to go to Bangalore when he growns up" (pointing at Boy 2)

Mommie - "yeah..u can..for studies. When you grow big..you can go"

Boy 1 - "Mammaa !!! its not for studies !!! Avan adichu polikaana pokunnae (he wants to have josh/masti !) ..... and ..he wants to meet Divya too !

thats her.... Ms. Divya

Boy 2 - smiles...shy .

Boy 1 to Boy 2 - but eda...she is already married. And you know whom ? She married Arun chettan!!!!

him !

Well..i know it wouldnt make much sense to the non-keralite readers...but keralites, will definitely know whats cooking.

Divya, is the name of the character played by Nazriya in the movie Bangalore Days (the most "IN" with my boys as of now)

and meet Mr.Arun, the character by Fahad Fazil in the movie
Diamond Necklace.

Doing the role of a young oncologist in Dubai who is out to enjoy life to the fullest, even if it means emptying his pockets to pay over-eager banks in order to finance a lavish trendy lifestyle. He shares an apartment with his friend in Burj Khalifa, "regularly changes his cars "and lives on the numerous credit cards that adorn his wallet.

Now.."regularly changing cars".!! .thats what got my boys attention.
In reality (in the movie, i mean) the cars that he travel in get confiscated every now and then by the police for not paying its debts, but this cool headed freaqy doc ends up with an even posher car the next day.

Now is it that awesome ! (think in lines of 8,6 and 4 year old..boys)

He was their BIG time fan, from then on.
This was from about a year ago.

Then came along...Lady Divya.

..their HEROINE, for the time being.

(and they (count the mommie "in" too ;) love this song...Thudakkam Maangalyam..njoy!! )

so, when their HERO and HEROINE tie the wedding knots...in real life ! it was one big affair for them.

God bless this newly wedded couple.

oops... ;)
